Photographer Irina Werning and her "Back to the Future" project (check it out here: http://irinawerning.com/back-to-the-fut/back-to-the-future/) is something I know my mom would love. In the hallway of our house, there was this epic framed picture of my sister as a toddler, standing at the edge of my grandmother's driveway, watching her drive away. It was a precious picture. When my sister was 17, the three of us drove to my grandmother's old house and recreated the picture. Sister was 17 and had MUCH attitude about the whole thing, but I remember thinking it was a really cool idea.
I know my mom would've loved the idea, and it might've even inspired a creative field trip for more recreation pictures. I think I would've loved that, too.
